Okay now that wave 4 has been confirmed. What are your wants for Wave 5?


I've made it pretty known that my wishes are more variety and more dreadnoks. Knowing the first 4 waves, the comic packs and the mail in, what would you place in wave 5?

I'm not sure what I would like to see for wave 5, as they may be like "use this guy's mold and stick this head" sort of thing.

But one of them?

1. a Joe Trooper? (the joes need like token soldiers)
2. General Hawk (why not in a Pressed Uniform rather than Combat Uniform)
3. Sgt. Slaughter? (since there's Rowdy Piper for Cobra)

but just how many wave is Hasbro planning?!?!

The 25th Anniversary line is awesome! I have read so many complaints and grumblings about them, but I think they are great. They are not absolutely flawless, but they are the best G.I. Joes that have been out in a long time! I hope the line continues for several years.

GI Joe is starting to trip her out a bit; my 25th annie figs arrived yesterday at the same time as another box with 3 DTC figs I'd also bought. I came in with arms full and left my keys in the door, so when a neighbor knocked on the door to tell me, her immediate reaction was "That better not be more Joes!" Still, the wedding is in two weeks, so it's too late for her to back out.

I've been married 11 years and I just started into collecting with the 25th figures. In jst a short time my wife has gone from surprise to anger (for $$ spent) to mockery to quiet acceptance to actually looking at Wal-Marts near her work for me! She shouldn't be surprised since one of my favorite things to do is take the kids to the toy store. Now I jst have to work on finding a way to display these.

I told myself that, too - for about 5 minutes. I managed to find all of wave 1 in a day - when I had them at home, my older son (6) brought in the bag containing the figures and said, "When can I open these?" He was a bit surprised when I took the bag from him and said, "These are for Daddy."

I did get another Cobra 5 pack just for him, but for some reason the Cobra trooper ended up in my collection. I wonder how that happened?

To stay on the thread - I'd be happy to see any of the earliest Joes in wave 5 (grunt, breaker, short fuze, etc.).
