Bludd's upgraded elbow!

Check it fellow custom makers. This is the planed elbow upgrade for Bludd's right arm. All that’s left to do is to cut the arm above the elbow then drill a hole for the upper plug in the elbow to fit into the upper arm above the elbow. Push in the lower plug into Bludd's glove and PRESTO articulated arm Bludd. The elbow comes from Cobra Commander's right arm from the Legions five pack, and can be turned so that the R is on the bottom.

Actually, mine will be finished this weekend. But I used a cast of the shipwreck lower arm sanded to kind of a point. Cut right behind Bludd's glove box thing, hollowed it out some, then glued in the piece I filed down and worked greenstuff around it to build up the boot look again.

Had to cut a little section of the boot off the top part to make the arms sit somewhat even. didn't want him having a goon arm you know. I'll post pics of it this weekend when I get ready to post my Custom I plan to use for both the contest here and the one Alyosha is holding.

Just wanted to know....Bludds arm....dose it move at all? I thought it had a rotate point... you know i guess im askin does the glove come off similar to the CC glove's?

It only has articulation at the shoulder and wrist. They kept to the original design and made the elbow nonfunctioning. Although in the Q&A Hasbro said something about possibly making this figure again with the elbow articulation, but who knows when that could be. It's an easy fix if you have spare parts, Dremel and are good at working GS.

Its supposed to be robotic armor to protect him from his rocket pistol. I'm sure the idea was to just make it "different" and the concept overshadowed the final execution.

got so excited to try this I boiled and popped my CC elbow joint this morning. Now, when I find a Bludd in the fall of 2012, I'll be ready to pop it in.

I feel ya, My girl found one Bludd for me yesterday, He's going up on the wall. Got lucky and found a fellow Tanker jschmoe to sell me my extra Bludd. Now the hard part the ever looooooooong weekend wait. If I find one at retail before the weekends over, you will all know cause I'll post pics ASAP with upgraded arm
