View Full Version : Got me a life-sized GI Joe VAMP

Hehe... not quite a VAMP, but it is a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. My wife got it for me.

Who put Jabba in front of the Jeep? Oh wait, that's just me. :D

I was in Denver over the Memorial Day weekend. That's at Red Rocks. I'm planning on getting a couple white Army vinyl stars to put on it. And eventually when the new GI Joe movie comes out, I'm sure the logo will be made into a vinyl decal as well, that'll look good on the rear window.

Gas miliage sucks... my wife said that if I got the Jeep, I couldn't collect the new Indiana Jones figures in addition to the GI Joe. Oh well, it's worth it.

You should totally put a GI Joe decal down the door tho, for reals! :)

That is a pretty sweet ride there man, congrats. Just curious, is the top permanent or can it be removed? And the color is perfect.

It's removable, it's actually a new type of Jeep top called the "Freedom Top" as it is three pieces. It's like a T-top, the front panels are removable as is the back.

The doors come off too.

Sweet man.

The sales guy thought I was nuts when I asked where the option check box was for the .50 cal mount for the back of mine when I ordered it new in '01. :)

Sadly,I had to get rid of it when we had the boys, but it was a good trade (for the boys :) ).

That's a sweet ride Xero! Seriously though, you're gonna have to put twin gas cans on the back and paint the wheels olive drab to really vamp it up.
