This is a SHS Colossis fig bashed with a Toy Biz Cable. I'm a little stumped on the boots. After moding with green stuff for the first time, I painted it up to see how it looked. I think with a little more paint to age the fig, a head set, necklace, and boots it will be done. LMK what yall think.

Yup last minute, had it sitting there and it fit like a glove and stays on.

Back about 20 years ago when I read X-men comics, I thought Cable was cool..I always loved Colossus and Beast too..

Seeing the picture of Cable from the Jim Lee X-men card set brings back memories. ah....anyway pretty good custom. I think you captured the old Liefeld Cable with the big shoulder pads pretty well.

I look forward to updates on this one. I've made a couple cables but they were kinda weak. Yours is coming along nicely. Is that a toy biz X-Force Cable head?

Yes it is a Toy Biz head and the shoulder pads are from the first Cable they put out. I haven't been working on him lately I just got my orders from Broken Arrow and Tri-Gate this week so I have been a little busy. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12091 Had to do Santa. I'm still not sure about the knees and boots. I need to find a head set and weather him a bit, But I will finish him. Thanks for your responses.

I thought about using that head too, but figured it was too big, but after seeing you attach it to colossus's body, it looks right.

Ya it's a big head but the body holds it well. I started trying to make Cable out of ARAH joe parts like I did with Bishop. It did not look right now Bishop looks small.
