Montclair - Target (8/4 @ 7pm) had 1 Cobra 5-Pack Left. Unfortunately i snagged it.

Chino Hills - Target (8/5 @ 1:30pm) had 4 Cobra 5-Packs Left and 1 Joe 5-Pack. I snagged the Joe Pack.

My Target runs today (8/6)

Duarte (11am) : No 5 Packs or Singles, the employees were in the middle of redoing the toy layouts and probably wouldn't get to the Action Figure section til tomorrow or later in the week.

San Dimas (11:30am) : 1 Snake Eyes w/ grey timber. 3 Cobra 5 Packs and 1 Joe 5 Pack. Snagged S.E. to be my first official carded figure along with the Joe 5 Pack. S.E. apparently was left behind because the card wasn't in good shape, i didn't care cuz i was going to open it.

Baldwin Park : No figures

Rosemead (12:15pm) : 2 Joe 5 Packs and 3 Cobra 5-packs and at least 2 cases of singles on the pegs but i was a minute late because some guy was already pulling all the figures he wanted and only left 3 Storm Shadows, 4 Snake Eyes w/ Grey Timber. I was pissed.. I picked up a Storm Shadow and another Joe 5-Pack.

Alhambra (12:45pm) : Jackpot, 2 Flint, 1 Cobra Commander, 1 Cobra Officer, and about 2-4 Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. I grabbed the 3 figures i needed (Flint, Cobra Commander, and Cobra Officer). There were 2 Joe 5-Packs and 3 Cobra 5-Packs.

Alhambra TRU - Nothing

Pasadena (Colorado, near Lake) - No figures, they're redoing the toy aisles, so the shelves were bare.

Hey Shadoviper, I guess you check a lot of the same stores that I do.

Well the Traget are as follows, Nothing at Baldwin Park, West covina, San Dimas, La Verne and Montclaire. Though the pigs at BP, SD, and Montclaire show that they were there. Both WC and LV, the computers say there is none in the Stock room.
Last week I actually picked up my singles at the BP Target. But there was nothing left so I didnt report anything.

Walmarts nothing at Glendora,Upland, and Baldwin Park. Duarte had the 5 figure packs in the cases on pallets, but no single figure case that I could see. Covina had Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Flint.

As far as the Target in City of Industry, they have the single packs but would not sell them to me until the toy section was reset. That pissed me off but there was nothing I could the employee at least went back and checked for me.

TRU City of Industry had 1 5 pack of cobras.

Walmart city of industry nothing.

I am looking for another single Cobra Commander and officer because I want one to open and one to keep sealed.

Me. I've picked up one hooded storm shadow at Berkeley Target. All of the rest of their 25 Ann stuff was gone though.

The Oakland Walmart has nothing but they have all their restock sheets up. The sheets have been sitting there for 2 weeks. Lazy's. I don't even see a spot for Joe stuff.

I need to get to TRU in Pinole to check their stuff.

Unfortunately, I have not seen any single carded in the So Cal, San Diego area. But the 5 pk set are readily available virtually at all retailers. Those single carded are damn near impossible for find. And when I do see one, there like one or two on the peg. And what is worse, Hasbro.com doesn't even have the single carded.

At the beginning of this month i was able to find some singles and 5 packs, but i agree it's been slim pickings when i go looking for SE w/ black timber. Luckily i got all the figures i need. Just missing the SE and i'll be current until wave 2.

I know this one warehouse/swap meet (whatever you want to call it) in City of Industry which has some small mom and pop booths that carry the figures but for more than you'd really want to pay for them.

Gonna swing by there today to check out some Transformer Masterpiece figures and maybe snag the SE black timber if they have them for a good price.

heck, the only stores that i've actually seen carrying the single packs would be those "specialty stores." i was coughing up coz they're selling it to me like $10 each. no freakin way, $50 for all 5 of single packs?!?!

Wave two is not out yet. I am seeing a lot of the 8" joes now. I have not seen any of the single card 25th anniversary figures in a couple of weeks. I see the 5 packs every now and then.

I have seen the singles at Frank and Son collectible show but they are more expensive.

I am thinking about just pre-ordering wave two figures just to avoid the wasting gas. driving around.

Yeah, i've seen them at Frank and Son's also for double or triple the price. I broke down and bought my last figure needed (Snake Eyes w/ black Timber) for $13.

I should have snagged another set when i was up north (Travis AFB) a few weeks ago, they placed on shelves 3 fresh cases of figures. I only snagged some SW Mcquarrie figures i needed (Boba Fett and StormTrooper - 2 each). I'll be heading over there this weekend, so if any are still there i'll maybe pick up a set.

Monrovia TRU had 2 5-packs (Cobra and GI Joe) i didn't open it up to see if it was a varient package or not.

Went to a couple of Wal-marts and Targets in the OC area hoping to find some 25th wave 2 stuff, but came out empty handed. I don't even see the 5-packs anymore. Even some of the single-carded pegs are being replaced with other stuff. This sucks, I was hoping we get stuff the same time as nor cal.

FINALLY found some wave 2 at my local walmarts in OC. Picked up a 3x cobra troopers, 1x Serpentor, 1x Lady Jaye, and 2x Beach Head, 1x buzzer.
Went to 3 different Walmarts today just to find these guys. I would say each had about 4-5 cases each. Seem like they just stocked them this weekend but the hardest figure to find was buzzer only saw 2 at the Westminster Walmart. Good luck hunting guys!!

It lasted for a weekend for all the wal-mart stores i visited. All you could find left were CC, SE, SS (if you found any). I believed most stores here got 3 or 4 cases.

Went everywhere today, SIMI VALLEY Walmart, Target, Kmart (all i found was empty pegs and 5 packs)..... Then the Porter Ranch Walmart and TRU same thing, then Burbank Target and TRU, same thing...NOTHING... This sucks... Hit up the 24 hour walmarts this morning (Glendora and Baldwin Park) and found 2 Cobra Commanders, 2 Storm Shadows, and 1 Snake Eyes in Glendora (Already have them, left them on the peg. SE had a nice crease down the middle, probably why he was left behind... NO Flint or Officers). Baldwin Park had nothing.

Scoped out Target (Duarte) as the opened, had a little foot race with 2 other people and a guy in a motorized wheelchair.... to find nothing.

Checked out WalMart in Duarte and found nothing

Visited Toys R Us in Monrovia and was informed by one of the workers that someone purchased the last 5 pack which was hidden in the cubbie shelf above the aisles.

Had an itch to search more and drove to K-Mart in Temple City. They had 6 5-Pack boxsets (1 Cobra ~ torn corner and 5 GI Joe). They're located on the top shelf of the Joe section.

Went to Target in Rosemead, WalMart in Monterey Park, was about to hit up Target and TRU in Alhambra but was tired from being up all night and decide to come home and find out that........

Wave 2 was posted on HTS!!!! Luckily i was able to snag 2 sets minus the Cobra Trooper.

Baldwin park Walmart had about 8 Wave 2 cobra legions 5-packs this morning around 8am, when I checked.

I found wave two at the Diamond bar target and also a wave 3 stalker. There is nothing left there since there was just one of each figure.

The baldwin park target must have gotton the joes in because the little gray stickers were not on the price tages, but all were gone.

Nothing at targets in Chino, chino hills, and City of industry. All the targets still have the gray stickers on the price tages and the scanners all said none in stockroom.

I did a trek up to the Antelope Valley on Tuesday (man, do I hate that area) and found $**t! I went to 4 Wal*Marts, three Targets and a TRU. (I didn't buy them since I had already bought one of each of those figs online).

Checked out Wal-Mart in Baldwin Park around 10:30pm and didn't notice any new GI Joe figures, they had about 4 or so 5-packs left.

Went to Wal-Mart in Glendora and to my suprise, noticed 3 Wave 3 cases on a pallet, as i neared closer to the case found out that they were all open and had no figures inside. I checked the aisle where they'd be pegged and no figures. Apparently an hour before i got there someone snagged them according to one of the workers.... DAMN! Had i not stopped @ Baldwin Park, i may have had a chance... oh well...

With all my excitement, I accidentally picked up another Firefly. It looked like they had 3 cases pegged up. There was another guy who i believe picked up a set of his own. I glanced down and noticed about 4 Cobra Legion 5-packs.

On Saturday at opening the West covina Target had 1 case of Wave 3 figures that I picked up minus stalker, Snake eyes, and stormshadow. Then i went to San Dimas Target and only saw Cobra commander and Snake eyes, so they had wave two probably at opening.

As for today got back from checking Duart/ Monrovia Target and Walmart, nothing at either. The target had gray stickers so i do not know if they have received thier shippment yet and sold out or still have not received them. The walmart had a new case of the 8" Joes waiting to be stocked but nothing else.

Sure thing... by the looks of it, i think the 2 stalkers i have are the darker green version. The green looks a bit light but it doesn't look yellow. I'd like to get one of the light colored Stalkers and Cobra Trooper..

I have an extra lighter colored stalker, but I only have one cobra trooper and have only seen it once. The front page of hisstank has a clear pic of the two different stalkers the one I have is the same color as the one on the left.

I dont have the stalker on me right now it is at my brother's place. The only joes on me right now is Shipwreck, Red Ninja, Firefly, Zartan, and a Cobra Officer. But we can do the trade later in the week. The two stalkers that are at my brother's place have slight bends in the upper left conors. Im not sure if that is a problem or not for you?

I checked my figures and noiced a crease on the top right going from peg holder to edge of card right beneath the 25th logo. The other Stalker i have has a slight crease from peg holder to middle of the "O" in G.I. Joe.

I'm looking for McQuarrie SW figures (Darth Vader, Snowtrooper, and Starkiller Hero) along with a Expanded Universe Darth Revan.. If you happen to stumble across one, snag one for me?

hey guys, I know both Pasadena Targets had wave 3 on Friday but I missed both. could tell by the remaining SE's, SS and Cobra Officers on the peg.

I live right by the Monrovia Target and WM. WM hasn't gotten any Joes in in weeks, and Target had wave 2 last Monday. I'll be checking both in the morning on my way out.

Baldwin Park did have 2 cases of Wave 3 @ 11pm. DTR281 and I were able to get a set each, we left a firefly on the peg along with Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. If i come across another set, i'll let everyone know.

I was up in the Northridge area this morning and decided to hit up the Santa Clarita WM (24 hours) and found what's left of wave 3. 1 GI Joe Boxset, 2 Red Ninjas, 2 Storm Shadows, 1 Snake Eyes and 1 Cobra Officer. I picked up a Red Ninja and Cobra Officer, but noticed the Cobra Officer was damaged and slightly opened. Inspecting it closer, it comes to be that the figure was removed and replaced with a v2 Cobra Trooper (red mask). I was shocked. I checked out the other figures and they were ok, 1 Red Ninja was damaged/slighly opened but looke like it was 100% there. I took pix on my cell phone but the image quality is poor. ~ Purchased the good Red Ninja.

I checked out Duarte WM @ 6am and didn't see any figures other than a lonely Storm Shadow.

K-Mart in Temple City was in the process of shelving some toys, i didn't notice any SW or GI Joe cases

Wal*Mart in Rosemead had no Joes or boxesets, i asked one of the workers the status of them and she mentioned that 2 were in the system (may have walked out unpurchased or hidden) and she had ordered 8 cases, won't know when they'll come in

Went to the Wal*Mart Supercenter in Santa Clarita wher e I live and saw a Red Ninja and was so desperate to buy a new Joe figure, I picked him up. I saw the stupid Cobra Officer swapped with an old Cobra Soldier (I think ShadoViper mentioned he saw this a few days ago). Man, I thought I had scored at first! Then I looked at it and just threw it down in disgust because it's still on the pegs. I brought it to an employee's attention, but they seemed kind of uninterested and probably threw it right back on the shelf after I left the aisle.

hayward. went to target today at newpark mall in newark. it opened at 11 cause it was sunday. got in there at 11:40ish and found 3 hooded cc's. grabbed one left the rest on the racks then found two tformers barricades. grabbed one and turned around to look at star wars. turned bck barricade went byebye. found joe variant boxset passed on it. went out of target. went back an hour later found boba fett. pretty sweet day for me.

Santa Clarita (Valencia) Target had what looked to be 4-5 wave 3 cases on 4 full pegs. It was like xmas when i walked in the aisle to find only what was left of figures (S.E., S.S., Red Ninja, Cobra Officers, green Sgt. Stalker, Firefly, and 1 each of Zartan and Shipwreck) I picked up the last remaining Zartan and Shipwreck (both variant No Logo and Anchor). I left the others behind it looked like there were 4 of each figure left minus Zartan and Shipwreck. This was roughly around 1pm today.

Hard to really know right now. Today I went to 3 kay bee toys and they all had new shipments of wave 3 with NO "variants". And it's not like they received this wave late. Wave 3 had already hit those KB toys 2-3 weeks ago. The "regular" wave 3 is hitting at the same time as the "variants" wave 3. So far, here in the L.A. area, the variants are showing up only at Target stores and not every Target store is getting them. Only time will tell and for now we can only speculate. Our best bet is to get one of each for now to cover our bases (that's for us who like variants).

Oakland Walmart has an 8" Lockdown and Dojo training snake eyes. No 25th.

San Leandro Walmart had a few typical 8" figs. No 25th.

San Leandro Target had one single pack 25th SS and some random typical 8".

Went to 2 Wal*Marts, TRU and Target on Sunday. Saw nothing (one Wal*Mart, the Superstore on Soledad Canyon had a Hooded Cobra Commander but with a 2002 Supreme Cobra Commander swapped in and a Joe 5-pack with 3 figures swapped out and replaced!!! Only Gung Ho and Roadblock were the actual figures. This is the same Wal*Mart that had a Cobra Officer for weeks that had an old 2004 comic pack Cobra in it instead!) To make matters worse, it also looked like the Target in Valencia got rid of their 5 or 6 pegs that they previously had for the 25th ARAH line. Just when I had hope that this line would hit it big up here it looks as though it's just stalling and dying out now. What gives? It seems like the line should be expanded everywhere, not killed off and disappear. Uggghhhh. Really frustrating, folks.

I was in Phoenix for work the past couple of days and visited a few Targets and Wal*Marts, they had Wave 2 figures everywhere (missing beachhead & trooper) but no Wave 3 figures.

Tonight @ 11:30pm Baldwin Park Wal*Mart had 2 Cobra Legions packs and 3 GI Joe packs. There was a dude hovering the SW sections waiting for them to open what appears to be 5-8 cases of figures (Yes!!... no Joes.. go figure?)

I'l be searching WM until i score a set of the Hasbro Masterpiece Starscream.

ShadoViper, I just missed you then at the BP walmart last night, I was there around 11pm.I asked the guy that helped us out with the wave 3 Joes and he said he didnt have much new in transformers, as they recieved a new case of deluxe figures about 4 days ago. Call me if you find the Masterpiece Starscream and I will do the same. Nothing to report on stores in the Anaheim area today. I havent seen single joes now for at least two weeks, I think shipments should start increasing because of the Holidays

Thanks Ordunez83. I doubt we'll see Flint for a long while since he's not being released in wave 2 or 3. I haven't seen any wave 1 figures other than the ones in wave 2 and 3.. That sucks, if i would have known he'd be hard to get i'd pick up a couple extra when i found him.

Damn, I knew I should have gone to BP walmart last night. I thought about it and then decided not too.
Today I hit Walmarts in Norwalk and the one off the 605 at the longbeach town center. Nothing to report there other then a couple of Legion packs. Also hit Targets in Norwalk and the on on Firestone off the 605. Nothing there also. I still have a couple more errands to do today so i will hit Duarte, Anaheim and Brea.

Nope, unless Hasbro is going to release Wave 1 any time soon, he'll be hard to find. I had wave 1 preordered but found them at the store, so i cancelled my order, not knowing that he would be near to impossible to find once wave 2 and 3 hit.

Check out SoCal or NoCal forums... SoCal, has nothing for single figures (from what i've noticed lately) only 5 packs. I've not looked for any single figures that much, but when i find any, i usually post them. I think i might start to hide them somewhere and post the location if i come across any, just in case someone might want them.. I have what i need, so i'm good for now until the next wave comes out.

Shado is right Flint is extremly hard to find, since there has not been any new release of wave 1 case. I read a while ago that Hasbro is supposed to refresh waves 1-3 for Christmas, but I do not know how accurate that is or when they will show up.

Target in Valencia had 1 Legions 5-pack and a Joe 5-pack this afternoon. I saw two Cobra Officers!!!.......but then realized they had been swapped with old comic pack Cobra's from 2002. Damn it, that really pisses me off. I have seen a lot of swapped out figures with the new Joes of late. I really hope whoever is doing this gets busted and charged with theft. Bah! Joe's have been really non-existent now for over a good month.

I picked up MP SS at the Oceanside WM a couple weeks ago since I have never heard anyone from the Transformer boards spot him in OC so I just drove down there and picked him up. That was the last time I spotted him and I never even saw MP SS at any WM stores when I was in Missouri and they have a Walmart almost every miles there.

Has anyone spotted Beach Head recently in OC? All Targets, WM and TRUs I've been at only have the 5-packs and all single packs are gone except for SS.

Wal*Mart : Baldwin Park - Wave 5!!!! I picked up 2x Crimson Guards, Snow Job, Sgt. Flash, Snake Eyes (All Black) and Cobra Trooper... No sign of the Gold Destro, apparently there was a person before me who snagged him, but no one else (which was odd). Left behind were.... Hooded CC, Flint, Red Ninja, FireFly, and Beachhead. It looks like they may have placed Wave 5 and Wave 3 Revisions.

Wal*Mart : Glendora - No GI Joes (i might stop going there cuz they never seem to cary them anymore)

Apparently Wave 3 revs. Arrived @ 6am and there were 7 people rushing the Cars, Hot Wheels, Transformers, Star Wars and then GI Joes.. luckily i was able to hit the Joes 1st but didn't see Wave 4 or 5... If you were looking for Stalker or Shipwreck, those were picked out quick. Zartan had the Changing Face printed on, not the sticker variant.

They had at least 5-6 sets of wave 2 and 3 and 2 of wave 5. No Zartan, though, which sucks since he's the only guy I can't seem to ever find. But seems like Destro isn't coming packed into these new cases or something.

Good thing about WM is that they'll in the holiday mode where they're going to keep stocking the aisles with stuff. Check back often.

Wave 5 (wave 1 08) - Picked up all new figs (This had the IG Destro in case)

I forgot about hiding the wave 4, grabbed the figs from members wish list (I already have my sets from HTS and BBTS), plus my hands were full. I'll definately do it on my next stop.

got my wave 4 set in from BBTS few days back. didnt pay for the collectors grade, but all 8 of 'em came to me in MINT condition. im happy, cause i would have returned them to a store and bought good ones if they were bent up.

i use BBTS as a fail safe, in case i dont find them. This set was actually a keeper, lol...
