Wal Mart doesn't order waves specifically, they order product in a generic sense -- such as single carded figures or comic packs -- and Hasbro sends out what is being distributed.

I just picked up the twins (tomax/xamot), weasel/ace, and ss/se at the Walmart in Stevenson Ranch.

There are two ww/ace and two ss/se left if anyone is interested.

There were no fred/scareface to been seen.

Again...there are still two left if anyone wants to make the trip to Stevenson Ranch, CA.

Take the 5 fwy, exit Lyons, make a left and you'll see it on your right hand side...they just restocked; good luck.

The twins rock...even with the green guns.

Weasel is solid...as is snake eyes.

Storm shadow is actually a really nice figure...beyond what I thought he would be.

Ace needs a weapon...feel a little cheated without a gun or vehicle for him.

I just need the last pack and I'll be happy until I find wave 6.

I stayed up too late last night visiting too many 24hr walmarts and missed out my hunt this morning before opening time!!!!!!!!!! dang it!!!!!!!!!!!

got lucky though and bought the twins/weasel/storm shadow packs at WM-Santa Ana this afternoon!!!!

some guy had them in his hand about to return them to the pegs... he asked if I wanted them?!?!? heck yeah!!!!!!! ha ha finally!!!!!!!!

Got wave 2 during my xmas trip in Nevada.

Wave 3 were found at San Leandro.

Tonight I found wave 3 at another walmart, but only 2 SE&SS and 1 Ace&WW left.

Hanford (Wal-Mart): They came in on Friday night.... I was traveling up in Northern California and got back an hour ago, and called Wal-Mart and said they are there.

Go and interesting enough....wave 3 comic packs are there and no one bought them but one (Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow). Wave 4 singles came in and someone bought all the joe's and Destro and left the other Cobras behind.

But the latest comic packs are pretty cool!

that is weird.. I never heard of anyone finding wave 2 on Target.. if you go now to any Target all you'll find is wave 1 and some Target that's all they have no singles.. and for them to skip wave 2 and go straight to wave 3 is weird but better for us..

there plenty of singles at every Target in the Pasadena area. and it isn't weird that they went straight to wave 3 because they don't order specific waves, they simply order product and get what Hasbro ships. this is more of a matter that Hasbro never shipped wave 2 to Target and simply shipped wave 3, but it really has nothing to do with Target.

I am tempted to order Wave 6 online as well. However, most online stores are likely sold out at this point since everyone is rushing to get them. Retail should have them soon (but maybe not soon enough!), and likely sooner than the online stores will replenish. Then there are always scalpers......

lucked out at the Wal-mart in Clovis this morning...picked up Cobra Commander(non-hooded),Roadblock,Duke,Scarlett,Storm Shadow,Air Trooper and Gung-Ho....no sign of Snow Job,Flash or Destro(gold dome)....there were a couple of each on the pegs along with Sepentor,Buzzer,Stalker and a few Destro's(silver dome)..........

I finally found Wave 3 at the Porter Ranch TRU in the San Fernando Valley. The Van Nuys store is usually in bad shape - checked last week and all they had were some of the 5 packs with SE stolen from them.

Seeing Cobra Troopers and Officers pretty regularly these days, but I'm not getting any more army building until they do red insignia ones.

I'm in Culver City from time to time, as well, but there's a classic toy store across the street from their TRU so I imagine that's where they all go (for $12-20).

i agree 100% with that assumption... ive never seen anything at that 24hr WM-long beach... in fact, ive never picked up anything there with all the attempts... the WM-lakewood is a good spot though... i picked up wave 5 there at 7am since they're not open 24hrs

Yes there are insider scalpers or maybe collectors at many of the stores that we all visit. I have seen it with the transformers movie concept bumblebee figure. I watched as an employee went through the transformers and pulled them out and took them to the back room. This person is at the Anaheim Walmart.

Anaheim Walmart had wave 5 and 6 today but by the time I got there all that was left was the usual left over figures, that come in those cases. There were still a couple wave 4 figures there that arrived last week at that store.

Nothing at walmarts in buena park and wesminster. A lady at the buena park walmart was changing the price tags of the single joe figures to $5.88. She said all Walmarts should begin changing the price soon. So there is no place to save on joes now.

Now the target in Westminster off of brookhurst and the 22 frwy had plent of red ninjas, lady jays, serpentors, stalkers, buzzers. at least 4 pegs filled completly.

Much like Mike, I'll be checking the Walnut Creek Target, as well as both P.Hill Target and TRU in addition to the Wal-Mart in Martinez. (I almost never go to the Vallejo Target, or Am.Can Wal-Mart anymore.)

And sadly, if they have anything that I know someone in the area is looking for, I buy it and let 'em know I got it for 'em! Worst case scenario, we meet up at the store, return it, rebuy it (it's happened before.)

Oh, and I live in Benicia, and work in Walnut Creek, and occasionally Concord. Hit me up if you need anything. And I know the Wave 3 Comic pack stuff is hitting stores soon, but I'll have some extras (I think) after my BBTS cases get in if needed.

Saw someone in the check-out line with (I believe) 1 Ace/WW, 1 Destro/Breaker, and 1 Fred/Scar CP as I was entering the store (perhaps someone on this board?) There were two SE/SS (wave 3) and one Ace/WW as well as a handful of Wave 1 CPs left on the pegs.

I found the wave 3 comic pack Crimson guard and Scarred cobra officer today at the Wal-Mart on Ingram. I left behind Tomax & Xamot, Ace & Wild Weasel, Storm shadow & snake eyses, scarred cobra officer & Crimson, Torch & Ripper, and the Destro pack. They only had three single pack figures (Serpentor x2 or Beachhead) These were either the left overs I saw last weekend or I missed out on wave 6 yet again.

The TRU 5 packs are out in california. Saw them at City of Hawthorne TRU. I kind of liked the Nightwatch pack, comes with like 10 guns. But the price was a bit too steep for me $24.99. I might of bit if it had been $19.99. The red ninja pack looked ok. But I decided to save my money for wave 7.

This morning at 7:00AM my wife went to the Wal-Mart on Kings Canyon. She found three Rock N Rolls (picked me up two) and oddly enough no Cobra Commander or Torpedo. How does that happen? She also saw a Snow Job which is a hard figure to get with a couple CG's, Enemy, Officer, Air trooper, Buzzer, and wave 4 CC. Kind of a weird assortment of figures, but I was glad to get Rock N Roll~!

i was talking to a TRU associate this evening. apparently they couldn't get more stocks in, until they're "out of stock" of the singles and comic packs. even though they have an empty shelf and pegs.

how can they be "in stock" when they're picked clean in the shelves? it's simple. people are hiding it. when people hide it, they would still reflect on stock on the computers, even though they're not.

what happens is that people do hide it in places that normally people don't see or find. underneath the panels, etc. this is why the associates that i talked to are usually unhappy when a collector comes into their stores and asks for stuff. and they (collectors) normally asks: "do you guys have more at the back?" even though they don't keep it in the back, when a single case assortment is small enough to have left there on the service desk.

so what happens when these kinda stuff are hidden in plain sight? the distribution center don't send them jack shizzle. "well according to the manifest, you guys still have some on the floor, so we don't ship you nuthin, until you guys are sold out." so my TRU don't get the needed cases in, coz the computers says "they got it" otherwise.

so poor us collectors who can't do anything about, unless a greedy and whinny collector should stop hiding stuff. and yeah. notice that other TRU's got wave 6 already and we don't around in these parts?

it explains why we get dry around here.

c'mon people. buy it. don't hide it. that way, TRU can sell us more good stuff.

I am surprised by Rock N Roll not selling like CC and Torpedo. I was actually looking most forward to the Rock N Roll figure over the other two. I thought the armored cobra commander would be the peg warmer (it's still early though).
