I saw Rattlers/Conquests at the Targets at Fremont Hub, Newpark Plaza, and Morril in San Jose. Go get 'em if ya need 'em.

No luck on Bats though.

And everytime I see the Target singles for 7.99, I shudder. Can you guys believe that the Justice League Unlimited figs are selling for 4.99 each, and they're bigger, ess articulation and inferior paint apps and all.

I've been checking one walmart every morning this week (clairemont) but they haven't put anything new out. Which makes me suspicious, because they didn't put out the recent filler wave either (SE, IG Destro, Spirit, CG on comic cards)I spoke to the toy Mgr and he says you can oreder cases here. But you have to buy the entire case and can not pick out form the case.

how are we going through a drought? if you are seeing the revision waves, you are seeing the latest releases. wave 10 simply hasn't hit yet. can we at least keep try to be reasonable in the sightings thread?

there should be a set date on these things like comics are released on wednesdays.i know hasbro has scheduled release dates but we never see them accurate.
for example,the target jets were scheduled on the 3rd but didnt see anything for almost 2 weeks.they were random like playin tricks on us.

Hasbro ships them to numerous retailers, who then ship them to their distribution centers who then in turn send them to stores as they see fit. if Hasbro street dated them, and had them piling up in the back of stores, people would then complain that they shouldn't have to wait until that date if they have them in the stores and would cry they can't buy them early.

not to mention that these aren't produced in numbers where they get one big release and stay on the shelf, so the dynamic that DVD's or video games enjoy by setting a date and then they are on the shelf from there on out, just doesn't apply. what if you went to the store the day they are supposed to be out, weren't able to buy the one or two cases they got in because someone else did, and then had to proceed to check on a daily basis to see if more have come in -- you would be right back in the same situation, so a street date does nothing to alleviate that, so it is irrelevant.

I just got back from TRU in Monrovia and it was a wasted trip. The CG and Green Shirt packs are nice, but I'm not buying that many more Crimson Guards. I wouldn't mind picking up just three of the silver faced version but I don't need more.

more than just the distribution of the product for its initial floor date, it wouldn't work because the product is continually refreshed, so you would have to continually check, just like now, if you didn't get anything on one of those initial dates when you know every Joe collector in your area would be at the door waiting for those few cases.

dang, nobody bothered stopping me. i just waltz in and looked around. saw a "bay" (shelve) of toys, well wave 1 animated... tons of em.

i usually waltz into a TRU backstock and nobody bothered kicking me out. nice. :D

so that's how i figure out if a store has stuff or not.... and not to trust an associate. LOL

There's also the fact that it's an internet forum, and as will always be the case, people need to grow thicker skin. Sarcasm is easily misinterpreted for hostility, for instance. Though I suppose since this is a toy forum, you can't act the same way you would, say, in a motorcycle forum.

Sadly, after a while you just stop caring because when you try to be funny, one person who doesn't understand you gets you in trouble. In this respect, I find that the least regulated forums I belong to are almost always my favorites. People can and should stand up for one another and shouldn't need to cower behind the protection of a moderator. Or worse, many multiples of moderators who patrol the forum with incessant lofty attitudes towards people who are just trying to have some fun.

Afterall, it's the internet.

I could analyze further... but I gotta get some sleep so that I can get up to hunt for wave 10 tomorrow : )

Found a case of vehicles wave 3 at RC Wal-Mart tonight. Left the Hiss behind and grabbed the other three. They are very cool and the fang and claw troopers don't look so bad in person.

They also had 8 cases of wave 5 rev. 5 and 8 cases of comic 2 packs wave 5 rev. 4 but I could not wait around all night for them to open those up, so not quite sure what exactly was in those.

Agent-GHQ got banned??? Whoa...didn't see that coming. Well, I guess i did, but he must've said some pretty messed up stuff to get himself banned once and for all. As you say Blaster...he was pretty antagonizing and condenscending to people. My brother, who is another poster on Hisstank, was telling me some posts that he read where Agent would reply too where people were like WTF? to some of the responses he would come up with. Also, like you said he was also a bragger as well. That post he made about the 50 Vipers and how he "worked" Target stores and manipulated their store policy to get what he wanted is where I lost respect for him; and that was my first post I ever read of his.

However, this is an internet forum and there is nothing stopping him from making a new account under a new alias unfortunately.

Not really! I went to Mira Mesa Target this morning to finally get the Urban Roadblack that I have been wanting for awhile since I do not have a roadblock yet. They had the same 'ol, same 'ol on the shelves/pegs. A ton of wave 1 vehicles, Conquest X-30s, and Wave 7 and 8 fillers on the pegs.

Wave 1 vehicles are pretty easy, though I still can't find a VAMP that doesnt have a shitty box.

I found a set at College Grove including fang and claw, but it was pretty beat up. Gonna open it. Didn't see a Sharc anywhere.

Also found SE ver2 / Snow Job / Armored CC on comic cards at College Grove, so that revision wave has definitely hit Walmart. Worth checking Wednesday at Targets after their mid week restock.

There were 2 of each at the Target closest to me. I wanted soo badly to pick up another rattler. But i have to keep some $$ in my account for my order at BBTS. I have 5 BATs and 2 Fang/Claw sets on order. I did hear from a TRU assoc that they have some Joe stuff, but cannot release it till monday. So what does that mean??? Hey Cat1... I went to Frank and Sons on Saturday and they had the extreme condition 7 packs for $35. Not a bad deal at $5 per figure (no tax). Did not see any of the wave 3 vehicles. They had the wave 4 storm shadows but didn't want to trade me for SDCC cobra commander (black) because the guy had 15 of them and couldn't move them! At a walmart north of cerritos I saw a bunch of the repacks, crimson guard (white border), etc...

No 5 packs, a couple of the old 3 packs. Seemed to have plenty of the clog wave (most figs I've seen at once, actually). I did, however, score a black Snake-Eyes. Yay, not a total loss.

For giggles, I swung by the Target at Tanforan Mall in San Bruno on the way home.
12... 12 jetpack Dukes among the clog wave. Breaking a record set a half hour earlier.

Targets had the Price Cut sign up. Single cards now $7.54

So no new waves of figs or vehicles for me. I did finally get a greenshirt set and a CG 3 pack, though, so it wasn't a total loss. Black SE wasn't bad, either, as a comfort buy.

I dunno if they are still rare (or if anyone here cares) but both San Mateo stores I visited had a couple Movie Masters Joker figures which I hadn't seen before.

I got my wave 10 wed locally but the case was crushed and so were the contents... sent it back to distributor (diamond). I'm hoping they send it more carefully next time, otherwise I'll have to order from somewhere else in the future.

I went to Target in San Marcos and they have a lot of revisions: CGs, IG destro, SE, etc and like 3 conquest and 1 rattler....comicstuff in mission valley have some wave 10 figures, one of each(no crocmaster and wraith), but prices are a little bit high from 12 to 14 i think, so i passd on those since i already ordered from HTS.

Found and left the S.H.A.R.C. & Firebat at the Hesperia K-Mart. Both packages were pretty mangled, so good for any loose collectors in the area.

Looked for the new vehicles at Target and nada. But interesting that around 2:00 p.m....all of us started competing against each other in the Hasbro Toy Store and got the new vehicles, DVD sets and wave 10's for 10 or 20% off.... No Fang or desert armordillo but managed to get the sharc, firebat, 4 of the 6 wave 10's (despite adding them when they were available but sold out on check out), the two DVD sets and added another Bat and Bludd. And managed to fit my son's Christmas present....Optimus Prime Voyager for $10 off and free shipping.

Great day for us GI Joe fans...and HasbroTS came through, despite wave 10's being a bit limited... Some stuff are still up there...so use the FALL20 code now...

Finally decided to stop into Big Lous Toys and Collectibles...neat place to look around for a trip down memory lane...but totally unorganized. They, of course, had toys you could walk over to TRU and Target and buy...but WAY higher. All their gijoes started at 12 bucks...

Only thing to note for completionists and customizers is they have a couples bins back by the old joe stuff with random accesories and what not.

Not to be negative, but from the lack of Wave 10 sighting posts in the Southern California region, I am guessing like all the other past waves, we aren't going to see this wave way after the rest of the country gets their wave 10? I am guessing we won't see Wave 10 until the end of October or beginning of November. A month or two after everyone else gets theirs. Same goes for wave 2 vehicles too, huh?

I had been going to Target the past four days in hopes of finding Wave 10, and it's been nada every time. Nada. Only Mission Valley had 1 rattler for anyone who's still looking.

TRU: Morena, decent selection of several of the recent filler wave. 4 CGs on comic cards. Not that anyone's buying them because the CG 5 packs are cheaper.

Well, Acrizer, you saved me a day.

I actually spent ALL freaking DAY Friday at the DMV in Santa Clara.
Trying to be proper getting my CA license/plates/registration and what not, transferring a 2006 car from NC to CA is a pain in the ass with the smog tests. My car was so new, it wasn't registering in the system. Finally, at 5pm, I left DMV with new plates and an NC license with a hole punched in it.

Since I'm sick right now, I stopped by the Target in Sunnyvale, and nope, no Joes. Just Buzzers and Dukes w/Jetpacks. I tried to buy some cold medicine, but it was "behind the counter", although it's just cold medicine... Since I had my expiration date punched out on my NC Driver's License, the dumb bitch behind the counter wouldn't sell me cold medication because "the kids are making meth with it". And apparently you need an expiration date on a license to buy medication. Last time I checked, it took a birthdate to buy alcohol and smokes, and nothing else. Not an expiration date on a license to buy Sudafed.

My goal was to take the rest of my Friday (that I took off to do the DMV crap, and then take the rest as a personal day) and go Joe-hunting, but that didn't work out. So at least I didn't drive around the Bay as well.

I'll be happy to tag team retailers. Later this month I'm heading up to Rocklin and will likely hit 3 TRU's and 4 or 5 Targets that are along the 80 there. It nearly doubles the trip time, but makes the drive seem like nothing. Feel free to lay a list on me.

I do know we (Cali) have some sort of buying restrictions on some common medicines for the very reason stated. I use the alka-seltzer stuff and usually buy all I can at once to save me trips *laugh*. If it's any consolation, out of state ID is the most common form of fake ID since fewer people can recognize if they are fake (unless they are using a UV lamp). So sorry that happened to you.

I know several local collectors who don't even bother going out anymore cause nothing is ever on shelves cause of these early morning grungy old men who snag up everything. and i know this cause Managed a few times to get out and saw these grungy bastards at damn near every place i went to running back towards the hot wheels and by the time i got back there there lil fag baskets were loaded with joes and hot wheels. :<

Found another case of wave 3 vehicles last night at RC walmart. Only bought the fang and claw as openers and left the others. the boxes were all smashed. Also, picked up some revision cases with the repacks. They had 3 or 4 cases of those last night as well. NO WAVE 10!

you guys know how to check DCPI's I imagine, and the wave 10 NEVER is at the Serramonte Target or the Colma one. One of those comedians that professionally returns stuff with custom figures did that, but along with their return they threw in (badly bent boxes, btw) 4 Wraith's a Cobra Flint, Cobra Bazooka Trooper and some other cool figures from earlier waves. 3 Wraith's were regular and one was clear! I got one of each of the wraith's, and FINALLY got Filipino Butterfly Knife expert!!! The Wraith isn't all that, too bad the clear one I have is probably AFA FU-35. The Socom dude is dope. I think I should've got the Cobra Bazooka. Anywayz, don't trip... I'm Flip enough to have put ALL those figures on the pegs for the sake that Serramonte Target workers deserve a break once in a while, Wraith told me to hide him behind Dreadnocks Comic Pack. Hope one of ya'll gets to swoop.
