OK, here is my first custom painting of a figure since I was a kid.

The arms are, of course, TF Flint's. The hands came from Grunt. I trimmed off the cuff then cut off the little post and glued it back onto the hand. This works great by the way - the post is bonded to the hand very strongly so that the hand can turn and can even be taken back out without breaking off the post.

The paint I used was an almost exact match for the original color, only it may be a little too glossy (there was no option for flat). I'll probably put a flat clear coat on next. It looks very dark in this picture, but that's the lighting. I did not paint the belts, and they look dark as well.

For some reason, the paint on the arms were a little thick and gloppy, even though I used the same kind as the green. Next time I'll have to thin it out a little more.

I'll take some action shots later, right now I have to pack for a trip.

EDIT: Here's an action shot.

Looks good. What was the color and brand for the green?

The brand is Testors Model Master Acryl and the color is Dunkelgrun.

I've been thinking about doing the same with Breaker, but I don't think I want the muscular forearms on him. It certainly is fitting for Rock 'n' Roll, though. Next I have to find a weapon I like better.
