Hi all,

We wanted to tell you about a few new things going on at SMALLJOES.COM.


GI JOE
------

Wave 4 '08 single-carde figures are here now. As usual, our first shipment was very short of what we actually ordered. Expect it to sell out quickly, and we will (hopefully) get more in a few weeks. Wave 3 '08 was restocked recently but this restock is promptly selling down as well.

The newest assortment of comic 2-packs has also arrived featuring Firefly /Storm Shadow, Copperhead / Shipwreck, and Duke / Red Star. Again, very shortly supply on this first shipment from Hasbro.

We've also been able to stock some of the store exclusive 3-figure Senior Ranking Officer Crimson Guard 3-packs.

Well Im not going to really say much, but Ive had my fair share of problems.with him......He knows (or thinks he knows) what hot sellers will be and he marks them up......He might as well go straight to Ebay with that stuff........

Just checked Smalljoes and they now have Wave 8 (wave 4 08) and wave 4 comic. They are already out of Major Bludd and the Duke/Red Star packs. All the rest are there.

yea...got my $8.99 Bludd and my PP Officer...those were the only 2 I needed as I found wave 4 comic packs and the rest of wave 8 at retail.

When they first put wave 7 up I grabbed 7 Hisstank drivers for 6.99 a piece. That is all I could grab but at least I got these at a steal.

they've stated that exclusives are really for people out of the country since they probably can't get those...that people in the US should look to the stores for them. it makes some sense to me.

as have I...I have no complaints. I like that they only put stuff up when they actually have it instead of pre-ordering and having no real idea when you might get it because you don't really know where you are in line.

I don't mind anybody making a profit, but with the store exclusives. . .I don't know. I was pretty peeved when BBTS was clearing out local Wal-Marts last year so that they could jack up the price of MP Starscreams by 30 bucks or whatever it was.

Nightwatch isn't so bad, because they're a little easier to come by, but still. . .obviously, they can do whatever they want, but if those were bought from the store and not TRU.com, and if I lived in the area that they were being cleared out from, I would be a little mad.

I do like smalljoes.com, though.

See, this is just another example of someone on the boards talking out of their ass without knowing what they're talking about. I do not clear any retail stores out of any product and I do not "scalp" hard to find stuff off of retail shelves. I don't have the time or interest to burn up gas running around to retail stores. I hate Wal-mart and loathe even going in there.

Any store exclusives we sell are ordered and shipped to us from the retailer's online warehouse operation. We pay full price + tax + shipping. They are offered for people who don't want to bother going to the particular store, or don't have the option, or are international. And, yes, I will charge a mark-up for that service. If that service isn't valuable to you, don' buy the product. BBTS, who you guys all gush over, do the same thing. Seems like some selective criticism to me.

It ain't rocket science. ;)

i've ordered lots from smalljoes and have no complaints whatsoever! their prices may seem high to others, but whithout them and bbts i'd only have about 10 figs. Hasbro has no love for Canadian collectors and when TRU or Walmart ever get anything in their prices are about $10.00 a fig.
