I like the base if it comes with it, the way its posed almost looks like a premium format figure though if i didn't know any better

V2 snake eyes ?

looks more like his visor than his goggles to me.

It looks like an amalgamation of V1 and V2...looks to have the visor of V2 and also has the sword.

posted by someone on the freaks forum Looks like an amalgamation of all three 80's SE's (82,85, and 89). He's got the visor of 85, the baggier pants and boots of 82, and the flash suppressor of 89. Interesting choice. I wish it could have been a pure translation of 1985, but like I said that spandex would have been hard to pull off. I wonder if this means they wanted to do an "ultimate" Snake Eyes and therefore won't be making other versions....

well, after a quick photoshop adjustment, looks like a visor to me.

I have a meager sixth scale collection (German Officer from the Indiana Jones 12" figures, a BBI Perfect Body Caucasian and a Moon Girl Urika Gargarin.) and even so, with the $80 pricetag, I still want this. I wonder if the outfit is stretchy...

Very nice, guess I'll have to get at least one of these suckers. At $80 a piece though I'll have to be picky...

Kinda looks like the last VvsV version. I will get one, don't know about the entire line, but SE is a given.

The v2 also had baggy pants, they just weren't that wide. Its drawn in spandex sometimes, and thats the look everyone remembers, but the movie pants and the sideshow figure are not that far off.

Now I wonder, is this also an almagation of the movie design too?

Either way VERY impressive, can't wait to see Storm Shadow! Also a V1 Hawk...V1 ftw

I'm looking forward to it... this sure looks more like a statue though (notice the bent toes on the boot) I know the SW boots don't bend like that... I dig the base too, but sideshow tends to make bases add-on features (Jabba's dias) Can't wait for the full reveal...

actualy, the mor recent sideshow boots, the commander pradj in particular had awesome boots, Pradj's boots are as flexable as medicom spiderman.
Sideshow does NOT have a premium format/ statue liscense for Joe, only a 12 inch figure liscense.

lerath666

nope, the liscense is for the 1982-86 TV show and figure designes.

Psh, clearly you need to get your eyes checked. Its OBVIOUSLY Bolo. I mean, who else would they make first?

Shin Densetsu

Ninja Force Storm Shadow would look absolutely KILLER by sideshow. Don't know why I didn't think about that earlier! Not to mention, a proper homage to Hall of Fame Storm Shadow from 92!

Could Sideshow have a visor and goggles with Snake-Eyes, so that you can switch them up to have either v1 or v2 SE. I mean he has to have more accessories than what you can make out in the pic for the $80 price.

It seems that there might be blue detailing, and if so, it wouold seem it would be an "Ultimate" Snake Eyes, as it would incorporate parts of multiple figures. I could easily see Sideshow adding goggles, and other accessories, as they're pretty good with those.

man when I got home this morning and looked at the front page I didn't think anything could be more cool than the outline of Snake eyes and I scrolled down just a hair and saw the link bar to sideshow and the Ted Turner action figure! Hells yeah!

Could you imagine a 12" Bolo figure? Even a 1/6 scale, inanimate Bolo would kick your butt.

Bolo needs NO scale. He is Bolo. That is all that is needed.

I really like the picture. I am picturing this as part of a larger picture. It looks as if SE is point man on a mission, and hes telling people behind him to go. I'd like this pic to pan out to reveal who else is being made...I'd like Flash, Scarlett, and Breaker.

I collect 3 3/4 inch Joes, not 12" ones.
It looks okay, but no better than so many other 1/6th military themed figures out there. Just because it has a Snake Eyes head bunged on top doesn't mean I want it any more than them.
