Im just curious, I bought wave 8 from someone in FL., off ebay, they said they were mint on card, I had the items insured and told them I collect MOC figures to pack them careful, I got the box in good condition, opened it and every figure card was folded and bent, from the hanger to the bottom, it looks like they folded them on purpose,
anyone else have that problem?,,, anyone want to buy the figures?
I bet I'll never got the money I spent on them..

No offense (as Im very picky with my MOC ones) but that is why maybe you should do some hunting.
Otherwise you get dissappointed quite fast when the product don't match your requirements.

Right now, i am a Moc collector too. I usually hunt for mine, but every one i have ordered online or from here, have been mint so far. I am sorry to hear about your luck. Your best bet right now would be to try to sell them to someone who (1) doesn't have wave 8 and (2) opens them, and maybe you might be able to get your money back, or most of it...

while technically MOC does not mean the card is mint (that would be MOMC, of course), if you asked him if the cards were mint, and he said "yes", you may have grounds for a dispute of some sort.

thats because to most people believe "MOC" means that as long as the bubbles 'sealed' the toy is 'mint' on (a) card

yeah been there done that i haven't bought off ebay for over a month due to the last three auctions i purchased were totally misrepresented and damaged. people have a chip on there shoulder as to how much they think the item is worth. they think there going to get rich, they end up selling low, and than with an attitude they chuck the items in a box and mail them off to you . well thats what happened to me. i'm staying away from ebay this summer. i haven't had time to contest and rebuttle with the sellers yet either.

I have found Mint On Card may only mean the figure is mint unopened on the original card.

I know this idea is a bit of a pain but you could find them retail buy them then just return the damage ones.

I meant return the damaged ones to the store not the seller and wait for him to leave feedback then hit him with the neg.

If the upc code is the same, they'll take them back.
I open mine or buy loose, so I may be interested in some of them. I'll take a look and see what is in wave 8.

No, not me. I haven`t even seen wave 8 at retail with the exception of C.C. with the crystal. Just wondering if I can somehow help. I know there is a scalper that lives in Wesley Chapel that raids the entire area though!

Have you contacted the seller about the issue? By the looks of his feedback he seems pretty legit and I`m guessing that he wouldn`t want you to leave a negative comment as he is at 100%. It doesn`t state what part of FL he is in either. If you find this out, let me know.

Doesn't matter u can't leave negative feedback anymore. That is what ebay told me when I left feedback the other day.

I`m pretty sure buyers can leave negative feedback but sellers can not.

How gay is that?, what if someone never pays for an item, and leaves neg. feedback... Ive seen it done before.
Oh!, I left a positive for the guy who sold me the set..
I have no hard feelings, just frustration, regarding mailorder in general...

If they don't pay for an item - seller can report a Non-Paying bidder and any feedback they leave will be taken off. per new rules.
and by the way, I agree with someone who already posted that MOC = Mint on Card = figure is mint (unopened) on original card and the card doesn't necessarily need to be mint. MOMC = Mint on Mint Card.
