Possible new filler wave

I was at Target this weekend and saw an interesting assortment that i brushed off thinking it was just returns. Then this morning I saw the same exact assortment at a walmart on the other side of town.

Here is what I saw at each

2 Vipers
2 Cobra Commander wave 4
1 Duke wave 4
2 Zartans
1 Firefly

That would be a case of 8 figures. I did not count in the figures I assume are just peg warming like Duke wave 7.

Keep your eyes out as this is a good chance to get a Firefly if you missed out on him. They all look to be rereleases as I did not notice any major variant to them.

You didn't happen to notice if the GI Joe card logos on Zartan and Firefly were embossed foil or of the more common regular (dull) silver variety?

As a huge fan of the embossed logos I am always looking out for new ones, sadly these were dull.

Whats with the embossed chrome logos?Are they that rare?Every Wave 7 figure I have seen were dull silver until today I saw 1 W7 Duke with the glossy chrome logo.They do look nice if your moc collector

I also found black SE and firefly at target tonight. All my SE versions now have the 2 peg stand so i'm happy.

yep, i saw all of those at a couple of targets, as well. couldn't tell who the new assortment was other than FF, SE and Zartan, though because of some other (somewhat surprising) guys also the pegs (Snow Job, Stalker, Destro), and some wave 7 peg-warmers (Snake-Eyes, HISS Drivers).

I have yet to see wave 8, but i have seen the Firefly/Zartan/w5 Snake Eyes wave as well as one with Snow Job in my area.

I was just at Wally world, saw a wave 4 07 Roadblock and Gung Ho, not sure if they were returns or if there is another revision/reshipment out there as well.

Kind of odd to see those two and none of the other casemates from last year.

I have seen the same thing at Wal Mart...Except i saw 3 wave 7 Dukes and 3 wave 5 Snake Eyes as well as the rest...

HISS Driver is a peg warmer!? Those are the hardest to nail down in the midwest. I am counting me lucky with what I have.

It will be good to see the W1-08 SE hit the shelves again. I have NEVER seen him on the pegs.....I had to have a JOhio buddy from Dayton hook me up. Ah, the power of collector networking...... :D

Yeah, same here. I have seen a grand total of two HISS Drivers on the pegs, and have purchased both of them. I wish they were pegwarming as badly as Snake Eyes seems to be at the one Wal-Mart that seems to be crawling with wave 7.

I want a Firelfly from this wave and may miss out on finding one on this retail release. I already placed my order on HTS last week and will wait it out. Funny thing was I found a few when I wasn't yet interested in the 25th line.
