Has anyone heard who has gotten it now? will there, well, i'm sure there will be a comic adaptation of the movie.

any news about how the new line will be? a steady continuation or will it be a follow up to the movie?

i pray to god this issue is resolved at joecon, and they don't leave all us comic book die hards hanging

Hasbro has said that they will spill the beans soon. Just like Golob said, Joe con should provide us with some much needed answers.

i hope so.

personally, i would rather see them continue the line, OR, go back to right after the marvel line and pick up there.

I would like a continuation. Don't pull the Marvel "Hey, the last 7 years of stuff? Didn't happen." bogus, bull-crap, horrible attempt to get new readers.

The only change I'd like to see is Wraith never died and, oh look, there he is. We were misled. I could go wioth that.

Besides, they're finally coming out with #11 of WWIII and it is, what, 2 months overdue? I believe the last one came out over 3 months ago, but that could just be my anger....

are yours coming slow as well? i thought my subscription had run out.

damn.

yeah, i'm with the continuation. it makes gijoe unique. i hate reboots.

the thing with Devil's Due, they kill people off with no rhyme or reason sometimes.

at least Wraith's death pushed the story. he stood in the way of the Baroness as she was after her child. hell hath no fury, etc. it put her over as a bad ass, since he, wraith, had defeated snake eyes before.

Lady Jaye's death did NOTHING to push the story. they did the 'flint = Charles Bronson' thing, but how long did it last and where did it go?

I dunno, I though the death of Breaker, Crankcase, Heavy Metal and the rest were pretty arbitary in the Marvel run.

Doc's demise had resonance, as did Sneak Peaks, but the other guys seemed to be offed because many of themt had hardly featured in the book and nobody would 'miss' them. I never saw the demise of Lady Jaye as anythng worse than that to be honest.

But on topic, I wanna know the future of the comic too!

Yeah, I kinda thought that killing off Lady Jaye was for shock value nonetheless. Granted, it pushed Flint over the edge, but whatever.

it DID push him over the edge, but then what? what did they do with it?

they kept saying it was because people get killed in war, etc, showing the arbitrariness of combat.

whatever.

i think we understand that. IF they're wanting to stick with reality, then they need to change some of their own storylines.

they have a tendancy to knock off big names. they even 'advertised' that they were killing a main character.

as for Breaker, and the rest in Marvel, i can't disagree with you. they definitely didn't get any special treatment. i think it was the same reason...shock value.

Actually, I thought they handled Lady Jaye's death pretty well. I never cared about her that much until she died.

Well one thing is for sure, however and whoever they off in these last two issues is going to dictate wether it's a reboot or not. I think hasbro wants a reboot to match the movie or to modernize the the line and go for that international theme, I hope not but that's just my gut feeling.

As I've said before, I'm fine with it being international; BUT KEEP CORE JOE ELEMENTS!

Snake Eyes and Scarlett are Americans, they're a couple, Destro and Baroness are both from Europe, couple. CC is an American terrorist.

Ending everything we grew up with (25th toyline will probably end with the movie, cartoons are done, the comics might be done) in order to reboot the franchise won't just annoy the Joe fans, IT WILL IGNITE THEM.
