everyone of my joes, including doc, say GI JOE in glossy foil letters, what is this foil logo variant i keep seeing on ebay???

ok i think i figured it out, the gi joe logo is raised above the card?? thats pretty stupid.

I don't know either one of my HISS drivers card has the shiny logo and it is indented and the others I have are just plain.

This has confused me as well. The joes I have carded (6 from waves 1-4) have a "foil" finish to the logos but doesnt seem to be embossed. A clear definition of this foil logo thing would be cool. Anyone?

i have a wave 1 stormy embossed moc, but no for sale and my 2 docs have not showed up yet. but embossed figs are not worth that yet, thare rare so if u find some, hold on to them for a bit.

From what I know, Hasbro just changed the material used to make the logo. I have seen this type of logo on waves 4-8. Nothing special about them, they are just shinny and such. I could be wrong......

That is partially correct, but Hasbro hasn't done it for EVERY figure in those waves and there are still some figures who come out in the dull, non-raised logo and others with the shiny, raised mirrored logo.

Interesting thread. I just got a wave 7 Duke with Jet-Pack with the raised logo.

You never know though, could be worth something some day.

500 bucks though for one action figure. No way........I could buy a Cobra Army for that.
