(By the way, this may contain SPOILERS so don't read this if you don't want to know anything about these comics.)
After reading the wave 4 comics, I wondered if they provide some insight into upcoming figure and vehicles releases. The comics have plenty of already released figures and some vehicles - might the others be released later? Here's a list of ones I found interesting:
Characters
- Tunnel-Rat
- Tripwire (in purple)
- Keel Haul
- Dr. Mindbender
- Horror-Show
- Daina
- Cobra Night Creepers (some wielding shoulder-fired missiles/bazookas)
Vehicles
- Piranha (with Shipwreck, the one released in '04)
- Cobra Hydrofoil (with Copperhead)
- Rattler

Well, we already know that Tripwire is coming...
And I read something somewhere where is said "Admiral"..My guess is that it's Keel-Haul..
As for the October guard, who knows? perhaps we'll get an exclusive 4 or 5 pack or something like the MASS Device sets..
I would love a Horror Show figure...

So long as you are just scanning the panels that show the vehicles/figures in question, its alright. Was the Rattler in blue, and which version Night Creepers were there?

Yes, the Rattler was blue, but shown only in one panel.
The night creepers are mostly like v1, but maybe more realistic coloration and a more prominent head-wrap. I don't have a scanner, but here's a photo of the panel.

The uh, comics should be online at Hasbro's site. You'll need a faster internet connection than I have to see them though.

If I'm not mistaken, that Tripwire shown in the "Backstabbed" comic was in his funskool colors. Weird. He kinda looked like a bug. (My scanner is busted or I'd scan a pic) If someone else can scan it & post it that would be cool.

I think I was wrong, and the Trip-Wire was form his "Listen 'n' Play" Figure that came with the tape. Still an interesting choice..

Dial-Tone was also in the Shipwreck Comic. The Cobra Troop helicoptor also appeared in the Duke/Red Star one. These are new stories. Why have cameos of characters/vehicles the kiddies can't buy?? Hopefully most of these guys are on the short list of figures to do.
