Who do you think has the most iconic card art? When you close your eyes and picture a GI Joe package, who do you picture?

For me I think it would have to be Duke and Storm Shadow.

The one that stuck with me the most from my childhood was the v1 Snake-Eyes, pointing.

NINJA FORCE STORM SHADOW

SURE SNAKE EYES HAD SOME NICE CARD ART BUT STORM SHADOW'S WAS BETTER. SNAKE EYES' CARD ART MOSTLY CONSISTS OF HIM SHOOTING SOMETHING OR POINTING AT YOU SIKING TIMBER ON YOU. THATS COOL BUT NINJA FORCE STORM SHADOW WAS DIVING ON AN OPPONENT DOING A FLYING SIDEKICK, THE LIKES OF WHICH AKUMA FROM STREET FIGHTER LATER UTILIZED IN THE STREET FIGHTER ALPHA SERIES, PLUS HE HAD A KUSARIGAMA IN ONE HAND AND A KATANA IN THE OTHER. THIS CARD ART WAS ALL KINDS OF WIN, AS A CHILD I THOUGHT IT WAS AWESOME, NOW I STILL DO, OBVIOUSLY HIS FACE IS FULL OF RAGE AND UTTER VENGEANCE IF CHARLES BRONSON WAS A JAPANESE NINJA WARRIOR HE WOULD BE STORM SHADOW, IN FACT PERHAPS NINJA FORCE STORM SHADOW'S FACE WAS MODELED AFTER THE GREAT BOLO YEUNG I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED, LOOK AT THAT CUNNING INSTINCT AND DIM MAK BREAKABILITY ALONG WITH RECORD REVERSING ONE UPPING RAGE IN HIS EYES....THATS GOT TO BE INFLUENCED BY TEH BOLO SERIOUSLY. IT BEATS OUT V2 STORM SHADOW'S CARD ART, BECAUSE AS COOL AS IT WAS, DIVING-FLYING SIDEKICK AND SWORD AND KUSARI GAMA>SHOOTING AN ARROW, PLUS IT WAS BETTER THAN V1, BECAUSE V1 WAS HIM STANDING SHOWING HIS SWORDS AND HIS EYES SAID HE COULD KILL YOU BY LOOKING AT YOU. SO ITS LIKE V1 IS BOLO AT READY STANCE, V2 IS BOLO PLAYING AROUND WITH TINKER TOYS, AND V3 IS BOLO FINAL ULTIMATE UNLEASHED. IF I SAW A GUY IN NINJA FORCE STORM SHADOW'S POSE I WOULD STEP TO THE SIDE AND STARE IN AWE TO DODGE HIS ATTACK, AND SHAKE HIS HAND TO CONGRATULATE HIM. IT IS THEN THAT I WILL HAVE ACCOMPLISHED MY GOAL OF MEETING BOLO YEUNG.

You're points on Ninja Force SS are well made, but I think he loses a lot of points for being on a magenta card.

It is a toss up between snow job, tripwire, airborne, recondo and airtight. These were my favs as a kid

V1 Storm Shadow or V1 Flint, the latter being the first "American carded" Action Force figure I saw in my local 'Toy & Hobby' branch.

Flint and V2 Snake eyes. possibly duke.

I'd say Grunt and Duke. Reason being is because both appeared on a lot of merchandise for Joes (not saying others didn't but it seems like they were always on everything) back then and they were also on the covers of the catalogs ('82 and '84 respectively). I think it's too hard to just name one character having the most iconic artwork. And of course it's subjective so what might be very memorable for somebody may not be for others.

Yeah, Grunt's a good choice, especially since it was shown a lot in marketing.

When Bolo sees magenta, all he sees is red.

Honestly one of the most iconic card arts to me is Ripcord.

I always loved V2 Snake-Eyes, Flash, Grunt, Mutt, & Blowtorch. But I think my favorite was V1 Storm Shadow.
