TRU canceled FF/Greenshirt

just got a e-mail from TRU saying that they have canceled my FF/Greenshirt order...

does this mean that they have scrapped the product all together?...i only ordered one set so i don't think it's because of the multiple ordering people sometimes try to sneak past them...anyone else get this e-mail?

I wouldn't necessarily take it to mean they've been cancelled. This happened to a bunch of people with the 3-pack exclusives.

I don't have a cancellation email yet, thankfully. I hope it stays that way.

It's kinda funny we haven't seen pics of these yet maybe they are going to scrap them. Then again, maybe we just haven't seen pics yet...

TRU can be an awful place to order from. I have had multiple orders canceled, even for items that were still listed as "in stock" after my order was canceled. I wouldn't take them canceling your order to necessarily mean that the 5 pack was canceled. Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me too much if the pack was scrapped altogether, either. The first two sets they released suck, so I wouldn't be shocked if they haven't sold well.

I noticed a few weeks ago they were removed from my "wishlist". But I never actually placed the order. Maybe they were just removed to account for future higher pricing.

my cobra senior leadership was cancelled, then a month later, i recieved an e-mail saying that it was shipped. this of course, was the day after i found them in the store.

I believe I was charged shipping for the greenshirt and CG pack when my others came. Hmm....... I might have to look into this.

Well, if its any sign of what's to come... all three senior ranking packs are now back up and available online from TRU.com. Originally, my Joe and Blue Cobra packs were cancelled due to short production. So maybe, just maybe if they still plan on making the other two five packs Hasbro will crank out enough of these to actually meet the demand eventually.

If they have cancelled that set I wouldn't mind too much about it. It's just another supposed army builder figure pack with a non-army builder action figure. Plus I wouldn't like G.I.Joe going even with Cobra with a similar number of troopers. G.I.Joe is the underdog hero group, not otherwise.
