So I was over my uncle's house today and I use his attic as a personal storage facility for all the toys I can't fit in my pad for the time being.

I was going through my Rubbermaid bins and pulled at a MIB Ninja Showdown...I forgot how FRIGGIN COOL both figures looked and that it came with a dvd!!

I brought it back home with me and now I'm tempted to bust it open, display em and watch the movie..it's not like I'm gonna part with it or anything.

Anyone else own this set or is atleast a fan of it? Totally forgot I even owned it, pretty cool when stuff like that happens!

I got it. I can't remember what the DVD was about. I remember the motion comic came with the Arashikage temple set. And I don't think it was the Sigma Six ninja origin...

I think the DVD is the Spy Troops movie in it's entirety...which is cool by itself because I've been watching it on Youtube and it's actually really entertaining.

The figures themselves have MUCH more detail than some of the 12" ARAH stuff that was put out. I'm suprised more 12" collectors arent big fans of these things...very cool and I'm impressed.

I'm on a big Valor Vs Venom and Spy Troop kick right now so it was just cool that I had this.

For anyone interested in one I'm finding them on ebay and amazon very reasonably priced. Well worth it.

I remember I was actively hunting that thing when it first hit. 2 12" figs and a DVD for $20 was a great deal. And Spy Troops wasn't total garbage. It wasn't VvV for sure. The worst thing about the Spy Troops movie I remember was Cowabunga-Beachhead and Heavy Duty was Roadblock's cousin.

About 5 or 6 sets.
Used the bodies and parts for customizing and gave my son one for his B-Day.
Yep, open it up and enjoy it and if you ever need one MIB, give me a toot! lol

I thought they were okay. I liked the artwork but man the form fitting costumes on those skinny bodies made them look very awkward, like Steve Rogers BEFORE he became Captain America. Had they had looser, bigger costumes and super articulated bodies this set would've been a must have. Would've loved a 3-3/4 version of that Storm Shadow

I have that set. Snake Eyes is on the skinnier Joe body, so I kit-bashed the SE head and gear onto a super-articulated Joe body and added a gun holster to his belt and gave him an Uzi... Weird thing, that SE didn't come with ANY guns! Stormy had the only gun in the set. As For Storm Shadow, I've got custom plans for him too.

These are definitely good figs for a collector who wants some 12" Joes, but can't afford the Sideshow stuff... Like me, lol...

Here's my Ninja battles Snake Eyes on super articulated body. Haven't figured out how to swap hands on those, so he has no gloves. I'm probably going to add some more gear; make him more like 85 Snake Eyes...

Very cool SE Kitchen Viper, that cloth gives him a bit of a retro/Mego look! I love that!

Nice figure! I have done a few of those hand swaps and it's pretty tricky, you have to heat the forearm with out heating the hands themselves and then they pop out by pulling them. The first time I tried I just dipped the forearm and hands into boiling water for about 30 sec and when I pulled the wrist peg tore into. I had to bend the arm so I dip it while leaving the hand and tip of the wrist out of the water then they pulled out no problem.
