More Wave 6 whining...

For months, I've been whining about not finding Wave 6. I have Rock n Roll, found by dum luck. I just wanted to know who has and doesn't own Wave 6? The only Wave with three new characters and seems to have the smallest quantities released. I wish Hasbro would re-release this wave in half the amounts of Comic Packs or Waves 7 and 8 that we've been getting.

I think all the wave 6 sets were shipped out here. In the beginning they were all over the place. I was swimming in Torpedos! Now I can still find RnR and CC (Torpedo must have moved up-stream :) )

As for wave 8 whinning, I'm only mildly whinning because I just bought them all from a fellow collector in fear of not finding them and I found 2 1/2 sets today! Happens everytime! :)

its amazing to me how Hasbro sends these things out. I am in NY and wave 7 is peg warming (and no I am not bragging) Its getting to the point where no one buys and the stores dont change stock I counted 35 vipers seen today at the stores and 20 snake eyes

Why don't you guys advertise on Hisstank what you are looking for and try to put it up when alot of people are logged on. That is what i did and i have wave 7, 8, and wave 4 comics on the way. I will gladly help anyone out too if you are looking for a figure or figures...

oh yeah you can find people to help you out all the time here. This is a great group. And if you are out and see something that you know somebody else here doesn't have pick it up. You will be a hero to somebody here and they might just have something you want or need.

Wave six is the latest I've seen. There were a few guys in wave seven I was hoping to get, but I guess I won't. I had damned well better be able to find Bazooka, when wave 9 comes out.

I have only seen RnR in the wild concerning Wave 6, but thats it...... Never seen a Torpedo or CC....I had to get them from a local Comic Shop.

Its funny that you say that, as I don't collect wrestling figures, but really want the recent Eddie Guerrero Classic figure, and have not found a single one yet. So, it depends on what you are looking for. The WWE figures you see are probably the equivalent, in that line, to the hooded Cobra Commander or Buzzer.

i've seen scraps of wave 7 now, but i never saw the new wave 6 figures at retail (i did score them from HTS). Never really looked close enough to see if some peg warmers were w6 leftovers.

Anything against the on-line stores? Big Bad Toy Store is where I order my Star Wars sets from (originally did G.I.Joe too but they tend to pop up all over my area) right now u can preorder wave 9 for a little over $9 a figure. WalMarts over $7 now so it's not too much extra to pay to make sure u don't have any sleepless/gijoeless nights ($9 fig. based on wave 9 set of 6 figs + est. $10 s/h)

Wave 6 was heavily stocked at TRU of all places. I mean they had at least 6 cases at one point, and the Wal-Mart & Target got good quantities of the wave as well and the wave peg warmed for a bit at WM, I got 2 extra RnR just to help clear some space.

Yeah, I was lucky to have been on BBTS when they had a substandard set of Wave 6 (Why substandard, I dunno, looked fine to me) but have NEVER seen them at retail...Kinda want another Torpedo for parts in Airtight and Ace customs.

But yeah..wave six hit here like a week after long delayed wave 5...I grabbed them all and have seen only R&R & Torpedo a couple of time...never saw another CC since.

Only seen one complete wave at walmart and have not seen armored cc or torpedo again I had to resort to ebay for my second set.also I have only seen Snake eyes from wave 5 once at retail. so far these have been the hardest for me to find in my area

Same for me as well. The day before my ebay ordered Wild Bill and Spirit showed up I found wave 7. But this time I got lucky. I was considering ordering TF Flint and the Major if I didn't find them by Sat. and wave 8 showed up!

Whine away, I'm in the same boat :). I usually buy my Joes by the case online, but I didn't want to for three new figs when wave six was solicited. So of course I have never seen these *L* I barely missed the W6R1 case twice in the wild.

Good news though! According to BBTS, There is a wave 4 revision case with Rock & Roll, a wave 5 revision with Armored CC, and finally wave 9 will ship with Torpedo. So I would bet on these showing up again at retail within a month or two.

I saw Wave 6 only twice here in NYC and Long Island. One of each figure twice that is. The first ones I saw were at a Target and the cards were bent. The second time saw them at a Walmart and I purchased them. I'm not happy with the paint apps though.

I get to these stores when they open because I work the overnight shift from 10PM - 6AM. I'm actually there before the "scalpers" and I watch them get ready, but they never go for Joes anyways. They usually get Hot Wheels, Lego, and Power Rangers. The worst part about this is that I was doing this about 4 or 5 times a week hitting at least 4 Walmarts and 4 Targets within 2 hours and nothing. So I'm wondering how much of Wave 6 or any other wave for that matter does NYC and Long Island ever get because I'm not seeing an abundance.

I saw quite a few sets of Wave 6 a couple months back. Still looking for Vipers and Hiss Drivers from Wave 7 and all of Wave 8 except CC.
