Yay, pictures!
I'm not much of a photographer either, but I would suggest getting closer to the figures and using the macro setting on your camera. And maybe find a different color than red.
Nice reviews, as always.

Excellent. I love your reviews.
Some tips on photos: use natural light or a spot light (you can set a flashlight up or a lamp nearby, some kind of key lighting, basically).
Don't use a flash.
Use a white background (this reflects the light and brightens the image up. I use a piece of white foamcore, almost any kind of white paper stock is useful.
The macro setting is very helpful too.
Check out this thread, some useful tips.

Thanks for the tips guys; I grabbed the red cutting board 'cause it was the only thing handy.
I took some with a macro setting, but I find I get a better close focus if I use the "virtual close-up lens" whatnot instead. I'll have to try some more with the macro, though.

nice reviews dude ~ another way you can do photos that gives a nice "infinite" background is get a big piece of white crafting paper (the heavy stuff they sellin like 2'x3' sheets) and tape it to the front edge of your table and then to the wall, which will give you a nice curve at the back, which if you light it from the front/side should give you almost no background. (this is how we shot products at my last job, except on a bigger scale :))
also, FYI: Parka Snake-Eyes is kind of a pre-paint of the Snow Serpent ~ SS's got a lot of extra stuff that makes him look different (shoulder pads and gauntlets) but it's definitely the same base mold.
cannot wait to get TF Flint!
