yeah so during wave one i was instantly addicted. so ofcourse i started army builing cobra troops.yeah so i went a little overboard.as the waves went on i kept up with the whole collection. well now money is tight and cooler stuff keeps coming out.
so anyways i have been exchanging my old cobra troops for the stuff i cant afford at the moment.i never figured i could turn a cobra trooper into a tiger force flint .
speaking of, do you think that tiger force flint will still be as extinct as wave one flint?
well the point is, troop building is a plus ,also , the troops i bought back in oct 07 were around 5 bucks,so trading them in now is keeping me from spending a few extra bucks. so keep your recipts

Why were you even army building if you weren't opening them?

Like, alright, I get army building, I do it myself. And I get carded figures--yes, they look cool carded. But I just don't understand the point of having...an army of carded Troopers.

Think of it like this--why do we army build? Because Cobra is a terrorist organization with an army of nameless, faceless infantry units. That makes sense in context.

However, carded toys do not actually have a universe that they inhabit--they simply are. There's no logical reason to own five or six or more Cobra Troopers if they're all 'still carded.'

Well, not necessarily. I once had several carded POTF2 Stormtroopers I used as a backdrop for my Emperor's Arrival display (they were on the wall behind it). I, uhhh, did end up either selling or opening them eventually, but they looked good while they were there.
