Hi. I want to go buy the old G.I. Joe movie today and I'm wondering, are the extra features on the Blu-ray WORTH the extra money? What does the blu-ray have that the dvd doesn't (besides better picture of course)? Thanks!

Nothing I think. The GI JOE DVD I got came with really old commercials for 12 inch Gi joes and all of the PSA's. I even remember seeing the bumblebee one I have. it's great and it cost me five dollars.

I would get the blu-ray because with it, you also get the dvd. You also get both widescreen and full frame (both have pros and cons). If you have the footlocker set, definitely get the blu-ray, as you can now put the dvd in your set and have the Sunbow collection be complete.
As for features, I can't recall anything specific. You just get both disks which a nice bonus.

Yes, the content is exactly the same. You only need the Blu-Ray if you really feel Blu-Ray quality is necessary.
The extras, size options, etc, are all the same on the DVD and Blu-Ray.

I didn't realize the blu-ray came with the DVD as well. Then I would say definitely get the blu-ray. The day will come that DVD players will be obsolete. Might as well future proof your collection until something else comes along one day to replace blu-ray. Maybe by that time most of us will be dead. LOL!
