recently I ventured off to youtube to do a casual search for g.i.joe, and found Action Man, and from a joe standpoint the whole secret agent angle got me thinking, this guy rocks, he's got the gadgets, and the cockyness to add some serious pizazz to g.i.joe. and the Toys, for those of you who haven't checked the action man line is superb, the 12 inch line has e wicked vehicles, and the action man A.T.A.M line is in scale with the 8 inch sigma 6, and they have a helicopter that looks like the rhino chopper for those toys!!!!!! SWEET!!!! look em up, you can thank me later.

I totally agree, I've liked Action since I first saw him years ago. So many diffferent versions of the character and all the different vehicles were nicely done. Back in 95, the television show was pretty cool. The beginning of the show was live-action, then it in jumped into a animated show, wouldn't mind seeing that released on dvd, sometime.

really, live action, I missed that one, the only footage of action man that I've seen is what fox kids played, now I'm on the hunt for any and all action man dvd's and toys!

Yeah, the show would start off as live action, about the the first few minutes and when it was time for action, it would jump into cartoon mode. The show was in syndication, wasn't on any of the major networks.

Sounds alot like James Bond to me.

He may be the next big thing...but I don't think it will be in my household.

Well, Action Man has been around for a long time and with the rumor that the character may be in the upcoming Joe movie (supposedly Jason Stratham has been asked to play the role), Action Man may see a resurgence.

I love the 12 inch line, the sheer volume of gear and vehicles make for some great adventures, I would love to see hasbro reboot this line and it would be well received if they did it right. Any Hasbro employees reading this.....Give Us ACTION MAN!!!!!
(Even if it's a store exclusive).
