I agree with you guys, I spend most my time commenting on this thread. I participate occasionally on some of the other threads, but sometimes they get out of hand quickly, as far as posters taking a superior stance for their opinions. Plus some threads are like subscribing to a twitter blog.
So I love it when some of the other guys show up and I love to answer any question about Joes that I know from any random participant. Hell I think I talk to you guys more than my wife.
As we've basically uncovered just about all there is in the filecards, it great that Zulu's and Troynos projects have kept it going.
As Far a MJ, well I think he was good until Bad and then I just never cared for the music anymore. But he is perhaps the most popular/Famous musician of our lifetime. He was like a trainwreck you couldn't pull your eyes away from. I remember in all the places I lived growing up (Pakistan, Costa Rica, Zaire) that was the one artist locals would beg for. But I'm old enough that those years coincided with his Mega years. (81-91)
Still Those are the years I like to remember him from. Other than that, he now gets to meet his maker. And yes it makes me feel real old. I remember seeing the Wiz on TV when it aired in 78 or 79, and Farrah Fawcett was the epitome of "HOT". Two huge cultural Icons of my youth that everything else seemed to be gauged on...GONE.
