Depends on the toy line. GiJoe does have it's more prone figures, like the ones already mentioned (I have never seen an '89 alley viper WITHOUT cracked elbows, despite having owned many, both loose and MOC), but that's nothing compared to the metallic plastic of the Dinobots, which breaks if you look at it sideways, or the "stickiness" of a lot of old TMNT and MOTU figures, which is literally the plastic components separating and breaking down. Luckily, most vintage Joes and vehicles (to my understanding), were made from ABS, which is fairly stable, so I don't see the bulk of them rotting away in my lifetime.
