This was another issue that never got published in Finland. It's starting to feel like I say that all the time, but it really was a rarity for us to skip an issue! The last one from the main title was #24. From here onward Finland would only miss out on ONE issue. You'll never guess which one!
No idea what happened with this one, but the letters page said Marvel had lost the reprint material, or whatever you call it. Since this issue has been reprinted, I figure they just lost count and forgot to send this.
So, my first introduction to Joe C. was actually his second appearance, much later. Despite understanding the guy was supposed to be the original toy, and having read the synopsis for this issue, somehow I couldn't quite put 1 and 1 together and understand Joe's first appearance was here 'til I got to read it.
Joe and Jane will end up outstaying their welcome in future issues, and the laser becomes a bit of a crutch, but they're fine here. I prefer proper TOY Joes, though. Speaking of which, new toys are well represented here, which is good. Except those terrible wind-up helicopters, which were awful.
On the last page you can see Roadblock is HELLA pissed they had a mission without him.
Anyway, not much to say about this one, really. Decent mid-level issue.
