Marine Force Recon as experienced as Gung-Ho and Leatherneck should be MFF-qualified. It's not a part of the Recon or MARSOC pipeline, but they try to get those guys that qual. The Marines started their own MFF school to get more of their guys trained.
The Army is a bit of a toss up. SF and Rangers have the longest average wait for MFF school. Part of it is that that there are so many of them compared to the other services. Another part is that you need orders to a billet the requires MFF to go to MFF school. Unless you're on a HALO team or have been on one, it's hard to get the MFF qual in the Army. The Army had plans to make MFF a required part of the Q-course, but I hadn't heard much about it, since they announced the plan a few years ago.
I knew PJ's and CCT's were all MFF-qualifed but wasn't sure on SEAL's. Everything I have read indicated they went through basic Airborne school but being MFF-qualifed was only required for some units within the SEAL Teams.
Looking over my list I don't think Grunt and Grand Slam would be MFF-qualified in the real world. I may have to fudge what units they were assigned to before the Joes. Maybe a Long Range Surveillance Unit? Of course if one makes their Joe team more or less like Delta or the SAS then ALL Joes would be eligible to go to free fall school, regardless of their previous unit or MOS.
