Is this for the Royal Marines in the UK? In the US, it is called a fire team, ,and you have a team leader/grenadier, automatic rifleman (originally a BAR, then an M14 or M16 on full auto, now the M249), assistant automatic rifleman, called an A-gunner, who basically carries the spare barrel and some extra ammo for the M249, and finally the rifleman.
For the US, the difference is in the squads. USMC, there are three fire teams ins a squad, and a squad leader for 13 swinging richards. In the Army, there is something different about how machine gun teams are assigned to the rifle squad. With the Marine Corps, machine guns (M240G) are a company asset and a rifle squad may get a gun team attached but it isn't part of the squad permanently.
On edit, the fire team leader is also the grenadier according to USMC lore because the rifleman had a tendency to quickly burn through all the grenades where as the more mature corporal fire team leader would be more circumspect in his use of their only indirect fire asset.
