I'm going to use this thread to show its development. Images will be posted soon.
Its more a Bronze color as compared to a gold color and the color is all over the vehicle but it the most solid at the front of the vehicle. Here are some pics I took of a shell I had laying around. The only good way I can think of to get that kind of affect would be to place it the base color painted vehicle in front of a fan on low and spray the paint right front of the vehicle allowing the air from the fan to push it back onto the vehicle. I used similar technique when I painted my arctic whale to simulate snow build up.
