Mind you they did do this with some toons though. I've heard rants about how dumbed down Thundercats was (something along the lines of they have the characters explain what they're doing all the time when no one has asked them what they're doing IE: "I'm walking up the stairs! We're walking to the woods to find berries.") And don't even get me started on "Turbo Teen" (The cartoon where a kid turned into a car whenever he got hit with hot water)
I'm ok with the new Spider-man series but I also notice the story is taking a lot from the 90's toon. I'll have moments when I'm like "I've seen this whole scene, but with different pictures before"
I do wish that there were more good cartoons on. Everytime I turn on the CW on Saturday mornings or turn on Cartoon Network all I see is the same style ("Goofy Style") cartoons with, what seem like, insipid storylines (I haven't really sat through any for a whole show) At least cartoons aren't all "Anime" now (course some of those from the 90's actually had a real story behind them)
Well thank gawd I have my DVD's and Digitial Files....
I will cling to them and buy what I dont have on ebay...
wall my self up and live with my memories...
lol
