it's great that you have fun playing with Joes with your kid. it really is. but implying (and flat out saying) that people are somehow lesser for collecting more than 1 of each figure ("hoarding") or collecting for other reasons is unfair, and also the reason that "everyone was being an ass" to you. you collect how you like, and we will collect how we like. that's the way things work. we are also a community here that help each other out oftentimes. for the most part, we don't go around cleaning off the shelves because we don't want anyone else to have the "preciousessssss". being a collector is no better or worse than buying for a kid. everyone has the same right to buy as many joes as they want, regardless of age. whther or not this hurts the Joe line in the (very) long run remains to be seen, but i think Hasbro would agree that the line is sellingvery well with or without a young audience.
