WOW! You've been mightily productive!
Doc, Quick Kick, Law & Ice Cream Soldier:
Every single one of these is closer in line with their original, and to great effect. Normally I'm a big advocate of preserving the rolled sleeves look but Doc never seemed to be that kind of guy, so good choice there. Ice Cream Soldier's redesign is especially hilarious (I love that oversized red potholder!).
Roughshot, Freeboard, Kingmaker & Honda Lou:
Comic and cartoon exclusive supporting characters never looked so good! Every one is straight to the point, but I'll be damned if they're not impressive nonetheless. Glad to see the Marine Corps uniform makes its return after you took it off of Hellhound. Is that the same low res image? If so, impressive doctoring. Honda Lou *really* makes me hope for a Sundown now.
TNT, Burner, Kaboom & Justice
: All four look fantastic. The incorporation of all of the various Joe scaled/affiliated lines to fill out your project was a really smart decision (once you discount the enormous amount of extra work). TNT would have made a particularly striking action figure. I especially love the no nonsense look you gave to Kaboom. The Bronze Bombers were like an urban legend around here, so it's always nice to see these redesigns.
Byapass, Effects, Hush Hush & Sparrow:
I love to see those not quite right for the original character designs resurface. Hopefully Deep Six's land attire will make a return now that your original version of him has. I read that you originally used the Sabretooth image for Nunchuck. I'm glad you decided against that, since there was no nunchuck! But I'm sure that design will resurface somewhere.
Double Blast, First Line & Sideswipe:
These guys were basically throwaway frankenfigures from the lurch in in the figure's line between Stars and Stripes and Joe vs Cobra. Once again, you take characters who I had a real distaste for and make them not only fit in, but feel essential.
Ginsu, Antifreeze, Prong, Nunchuck & Tiger:
They all look great. Really fitting updates that keep all of the color schemes and the basic designs transferred over really nicely. My only question is why is a food service guy wearing a bacalava? Nice reuse of the Grid Iron image, BTW.
Fridge & Rocky:
Fridge
wishes
he looked like that. I see you've taken Rocky down, so there's nothing I can really say about that (other than the fact that if Stallone is around, I'd prefer Rambo--despite the almost Rocky figure).
Backstop & Longarm:
These haven't been officially posted, but what the hell? The Backstop image is really nice, although it might have been nice for him to wear a Protec helmet (being a hockey guy and all), even if the helmet you picked does look more similar to his original. Also, something is off about the face. It looks kind of washed out and the visual quality of it is lower than the rest of the image. Longarm definitely looks closer to his GI Joe version, but I'm
majorly
disappointed to see the COPS elements forgone. I could definitely see you wanting to change the image, but I truly felt his COPS incarnation was more unique and helped him to stand out more than the Joe version did.
It's a little strange to see three nunchaku wielders. I would think there would be better close range, "silent" weapons (I realize that's entirely on Hasbo, not you). A really great set of updates. You're getting better and better with your ability to not only modernize, but preserve the core character elements. Bravo!
