On a specific scene from the 1st G. I. Joe: Retaliationtrailer, we saw a very cool looking Motorcycle. Fans speculated on what this Motorbike is and who’s riding it. Those with excellent inquisitive eyes mentioned that Cobra Insignia is on the bike, while some denied it.
Thanks to 80sTees Inc.'s Facebook Page, we now have a better look at the Vehicle in question. And yes, there is a printed Cobra Logo.
According to the Description…
“One of the best parts of my job is that every once in a while I get to feel like a bit of a Hollywood insider. This is because licensed product needs to be prepared before a movie gets released. Earlier this week I was treated to some unfinished scenes from GI Joe Retaliation. I can tell you that it looks like a ton of fun, and it's packed with great action movie actors. It is now one of my more anticipated summer movies for 2012.”
Mirrored image of the Bike on display can be found after the jump for those who do not have access to Facebook.
Your fellow HISS tanker Viciousvinyltoy made this custom Cobra Sea Krait.
"I had the idea to make this hydrofoil more of a heavily armed Mass element recovery vehicle with a rapid deploy dive team. I used the crane off a TTBP and dremeled out a hole in the hull to attach it. I then took a Night Landing raft and fitted it with metal ring screws and a custom made chain for it to be hoisted with."

Lots of new G.I. JOE Comics for you to take a look at. Notably, the current crossover between the three main IDW series - G.I. JOE, COBRA, and SNAKE-EYES - is sharing the same creative team. We see the Cobra organization, now out in the open, pushing hard militarily in world affairs. Also available is the Cobra Annual #1 detailing the new Cobra Commander's intriguing back-story.
Also available is the ongoing classic Larry HamaA Real American Hero title.
Recently added to the site are a variety of vintage G.I. JOE vehicles and also a full collection of Sgt. Savage figures and vehicles from the mid-90's. We've also added a lot of listings for previously sold out Rise of Cobra figures and vehicles, including a few pieces that were not available domestically (U.S.).
In a recent Interview with Collider, actor Walton Goggins talked briefly about his involvement with director Jon Chu’s upcoming movie G. I. Joe: Retaliation.
Collider: How did you end up getting involved with G.I. Joe 2?
Mr. Goggins: Well, Lorenzo [di Bonaventura] just approached me. He had been a fan since The Shield, and he said, “I’m doing this big budget movie and I’ve got this role I want you to come play.” If you can bounce back and forth between a studio movie or a big action movie, like Cowboys & Aliens or G.I. Joe, and you balance that out, if you’re so lucky, with a wonderful television show or working with Steven [Spielberg], what better career can you have? One of the reasons why I wanted to do Justified so badly, or wanted to continue once we got up and going, was that I didn’t have to live in pain, every single day. On The Shield, for seven years, I was emotionally fucking wrecked. It was rare that we were just laughing. For the last five years, especially, it was really painful. Justified is lighter in tone, and it’s nice to be around that and show up to work and wear that hat. It’s the same thing for movies. G.I. Joe was fun. Lincoln was serious. I’m going to go do Quentin Tarantino’s movie (Django Unchained), and that’s going to be seriously fun. Once you’re at the buffet table, you just sample everything. That makes for a well-balanced life.
Collider: Was part of the appeal of the G.I. Joe sequel the fact that it’s more grounded in reality, this time around, and not so cartoony?
Mr. Goggins: Yeah, it’s a very, very big part of it. Just because of my personality, for me, comedy comes from pessimism, more often than not, and from a real place. In some ways, I wish I could tell a joke. I’m not good at telling a joke, but I can say a line in a certain way that makes people uncomfortable because they don’t know whether to laugh or not, and I love that comedy. That’s my favorite comedy, when it’s grounded in truth. And, I think G.I. Joe is going to be a really good film.
Walton Goggins is rumored to play an original character for the film; Warden Nigel James.
When we started podcasting, our expectations were low. We didn't expect to be around very long and we would have never guessed that we would have an interview with anyone associated with Joe media. Well, it seemed appropriate on the episode that makes WOJM the longest running Joe-only podcast on the internet (possibly in the world or in all existence for that matter), we book our biggest interview to date. You've heard him in our pre-show bumpers, but now we get him for an hour, its Jason Marsden the voice of Duke on the Hub's GI Joe Renegades cartoon.
Just in from UK Toy Fair 2012 comes word that there will be no GI Joe toys for the UK this summer. HISS Tank boards member DarkHorse was in attendance and brought us the bad news today. Support for GI Joe internationally has dwindled ever since the Rise Of Cobra line underperformed at overseas retail.
Did you dig IDW's Infestation last year? Well tomorrow kicks off the 2nd volume. How about not only a preview but also an advanced review too?
Infestation 2 #1
Duane Swierczynski (w) o David Messina (a) o Alex Garner, Livio Ramondelli (c)
Last year's groundbreaking Infestation series, IDW's first-ever event, saw many teams from multiple universes fight off a zombie invasion. Now, an even bigger threat has risen to threaten the growing IDW multiverse: Lovecraftian demons threaten to reach across time and space and destroy everyone everywhere and everywhen! Also featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this framing issue presents a threat that perhaps not even TRANSFORMERS, G.I. JOEs, Danger Girl, and others can surmount!
"Jung Doo Hong, the martial arts director of the film, revealed that when Byung first began filming the movie, he did not receive the respect or recognition that he was worthy of due to his ethnicity. However after demonstrating his amazing acting skills and superb work ethic the entire staff began to treat him differently. Blown away by his performance cast and set members would whisper "wow" and "amazing" under their breath after each cut."
Also mentioned was that Storm Shadow and General Joe Colton(played by Bruce Willis) do not appear in many scenes together.
