The New Jersey Collectors Convention is proud to announce that Boss Fight Studio will be attending the August 18th, 2013 NJCC toy show! Boss Fight is comprised of several former Hasbro designers and a sculptor who all worked on fan-favorite action figure lines like G.I. Joe, Star Wars and Marvel Universe.
It was also recently revealed (via their Facebook page, Boss Fight Studio) that Boss Fight was the studio behind several of the beautifully sculpted heads for the G.I. Joe FSS 2.0 that we have all been drooling over!!!
Designers Andrew Franks, Erik Arana, Catrina Cerise-Arana, and sculptor Dave Proctor will be on hand to meet fans and do some sketches. Don’t miss this chance to meet these former Hasbro Artists in their first public appearance as Boss Fight Studios!!!

We've got some more information for the upcoming GI Joe Battleground by Mobage, courtesy of Kotaku. Mobage is the same company behind the Transformers Legends game for iOS, Android, et al. So if you've played those games, that'll give you a taste of what this game will be like.
Now onto the new info, as Kotaku's Mike Fahey interviewed David Phan of Mobage earlier this week:- GI Joe Battleground is the 1st mobile game based on the cartoon(Sunbow GI Joe A Real American Hero cartoon)
- Aiming to include "every character from the series that's ever had an action figure"
- 1st time players will be able to play either as GI Joe or Cobra
- Fahey states that "I was told it played a bit like Blood Brothers, another DeNA collectible strategy RPG. There'll be player-vs.-player combat, Cobra-vs.-Joe worldwide events, but it'll be more of a management game that an actual role-playing title."
- Old classic file cards by Larry Hama retained
- Apparently Hit & Run got his nickname since his parents were killed by a drunk driver
- "Battleground will launch with more than 100 characters from the various G.I. Joe cartoons, with regular updates planned until all 300-400 characters are represented."

Joe Custom show (5.31) at Suburban Vinyl’s new NJ location. The one-week show will feature 30+ artist customs of the new G.I. Joe mini figures from the Loyal Subjects as well as a selection of Joe themed original art and prints, G.I. Joe Tees and a display of props from the recent movies.
Les Schettkoe, designer of the new minis, Jonathan Cathey (TLS), several of the show artists, and Hasbro representatives will be on hand for signings and to chat with fans and collectors. If you grew up playing with G.I. Joes, you’ll definitely want to check the exhibition out in person to get addicted all over again.

The FSS 2.0 subscription set will consist of twelve different carded 3 3/4" figures. You will receive six shipments starting in approximately September/October of two figures each month.
